From caregiver offer to first visit to payroll, in one place.
The paperwork never stops, and the caregivers are never in the office.
Credentials in a binder
CPR cards, TB tests and state certs as photocopies. A survey asks for one that expired last month.
Policies signed once, years ago
The privacy policy changed. The acknowledgment on file is from the caregiver's first week in 2022.
Visits that start "around 8"
Paper timesheets say 8:00 for every visit. Payroll pays for it; the client disputes it.
Turnover eats the week
Every new caregiver means a packet, a drive to the office, and a scramble to cover their first week.
Respect the caregiver. Verify the visit. Keep the file current.
A caregiver hired Friday is ready for Monday's visits.
Send the offer to their phone with the rate benchmarked against caregivers in the same role. When they sign, PunchPro creates their record and assigns the caregiver workflow: client privacy policy, I-9, W-4, direct deposit, CPR and credential uploads, background-check status. The first punch waits until required items are done.
- Workflows per role: caregiver, CNA, LPN, scheduler, office
- Privacy and conduct policies acknowledged before the first visit
- No office trip — sign and upload from a phone
Nothing expires unnoticed between visits.
Mark the credentials each role requires — CPR, first aid, state caregiver or CNA certification, TB screening, driver's license — and PunchPro alerts you and the caregiver at 60, 30 and 7 days. Renewals are uploaded from the phone and approved in one tap. An expired required credential shows on the record and when you build the schedule.
- Survey-ready: every credential dated and on the record
- Expired required items can hold scheduling until renewed
- Policy re-acknowledgment when a version changes
Verify the visit — respect the caregiver.
Caregivers see today's visits with client, address and notes, and clock in on arrival. Location context is captured at the punch, not between visits — there's no continuous tracking. Hours by client and caregiver are real, and overtime builds in view during the week.
- Home healthcare time tracking with location at the punch
- Caregiver scheduling by client, day and availability
- Overtime visible mid-week
One file per caregiver — surveys, payroll and scheduling all read from it.
Rate history, signed policies, credentials, availability, time off and hours on one profile. Approve PTO with weekend coverage in view, then review the pay period with guardrails that catch missed punches and overtime before export to QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex or Paycom.
- Employee records with a live who's-on-shift view
- Time off approved with coverage in view
- Payroll review and export
Is PunchPro an EVV platform? No — here's what it is.
PunchPro manages your workforce: hiring, policies, credentials, time, schedules, PTO and payroll prep. It is not an Electronic Visit Verification system, a clinical or care-plan platform, or a billing system. EVV requirements vary by state and program — confirm what applies before relying on any system for it.

HR software for home care, answered plainly.
What should HR software do for a home care agency?
Hire caregivers from a phone, collect privacy and conduct acknowledgments before the first visit, track CPR, state certifications and screenings with expiry alerts, schedule visits by client, verify the punch at the visit, manage PTO with coverage in view, and hand payroll clean hours. PunchPro does all of that; it is not an EVV, care-plan or billing system.
Is PunchPro an EVV platform?
No. PunchPro records location context at the punch for your own verification and payroll. It is not a state-certified EVV system and does not submit visit data to EVV aggregators. Requirements vary by state and program — confirm what applies to you.
Does PunchPro track caregivers between visits?
No. Location is captured only when a caregiver punches in or out. There is no continuous tracking.
Can I keep a caregiver with an expired CPR card off the schedule?
Yes. Mark CPR as required for the role and PunchPro can hold scheduling or clock-in until a renewal is uploaded and approved. Waivers are logged.
How do policy re-acknowledgments work?
Publish a new version of the privacy or conduct policy and every caregiver is asked to re-sign from their phone. You see who's signed which version, with timestamps, on each record.
Is caregiver and client information secure?
PunchPro uses role-based access — caregivers see only their own record and visits, coordinators see their teams, owners see everything — and stores sensitive documents encrypted. PunchPro does not hold clinical records or care plans.
Does it replace my scheduling or care management software?
PunchPro schedules caregivers to visits and tracks their time, credentials and HR records. Care plans, notes and billing stay in your care management platform.
